Working with Financial Files in Trezable

Understanding actual file upload behavior, temporary sandboxed execution, encrypted transit, and safe practices when analyzing sensitive financial documents.

Analyzing Financial Documents with AI

Financial analysis often involves working with proprietary spreadsheets, internal budgets, transaction records, and confidential PDFs. Understanding how your files are handled is critical before uploading them to any AI platform.

Trezable is designed with strict security boundaries to allow users to extract insights from financial documents without compromising data hygiene.

How Files Are Processed in Sandboxes

When you upload a spreadsheet (CSV or XLSX) or PDF document to Trezable, the file is processed within an isolated temporary sandbox execution environment.

Any code executed to compute metrics, calculate variance, or generate chart plots runs within this isolated container. The container does not have persistent access to other users’ workspaces, preventing cross-tenant data leakage.

Data Transmission and Storage Transparency

All data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS) protocols. Stored files are bound strictly to your authenticated account ID.

We do not sell user financial files, and we provide account controls that allow you to delete uploaded documents and conversation histories at any time.

Best Practices for Sensitive Information

When working with sensitive financial files, we recommend following standard security practices:

1. Anonymize proprietary customer names or personal identifiable information (PII) before uploading internal sheets.

2. Review all generated deliverables and verify calculations before sharing them with investment committees or clients.

3. Periodically audit and clean up uploaded files in your workspace library.

By combining Trezable’s sandboxed architecture with proactive data hygiene, you can perform deep financial modeling with confidence.
