Deep Research

Deep research is one of the most common ways to use Trezable AI. You hand the agent a question, it plans the investigation, searches the web, reads multiple sources, and returns a structured report.

The workflow

  1. Define the question — be specific about what you want to know and why.
  2. Let the agent research — it searches, reads, and compares sources on its own.
  3. Steer with follow-ups — ask for more depth on a specific angle.
  4. Get a deliverable — ask for a structured report you can share or reuse.

Example: researching an industry

Research the current state of the autonomous vehicle industry. Identify the top 5 companies leading the market, their key technologies, and the main challenges the industry faces. Produce a structured report.

The agent will investigate each company, compare their approaches, and organize everything into a report with the sources it used.

Example: evaluating an opportunity

I am evaluating whether to use service X or service Y for our analytics stack. Research both, compare pricing, features, and limitations, and give me a recommendation with the reasoning.

Tips for better research

  • Scope the topic — a focused question produces a more useful report.
  • Define the audience — say who the report is for (“a technical audience”, “an executive summary”).
  • Ask for structure — request sections, a comparison table, or a final recommendation.
  • Iterate — ask the agent to dig deeper into any section that needs more detail.
